Farmyard Manure is a carefully selected blend of ingredients which provides a rich source of natural nutrition for your plants. The product adds organic matter to your soil to boost fertility in your garden and allotment.

It helps create a crumb structure for your soil, consolidating light and sandy soils and breaking down heavy clay soils. Moisture retention and availability of key macronutrients, especially Nitrogen, is significantly improved; the product also encourages growth of mycorrhizal fungi to benefit plant roots and increases activity of microorganisms including worms within the soil.

Application
Soil Improver: Spread the Farmyard Manure over the soil to a depth of at least 5cm. For heavier, chalky or sandy soils more Farmyard Manure can be added up to about 10cm. This process is best carried out at least one month before planting.
Beds and Borders: Spread farmyard Manure over the soil to a depth of 2.5cm-5cm (1” to 2”). Work well into the existing soil at least one month before planting.
Mulch: Apply a 5cm layer of Farmyard Manure to the area, using a weed membrane if desired.
